From 20th to 21st Oct., 2015, Pameran Pengelasan Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya (Welding Exhibition in PPNS) and the 24th AWF Governing Council Meetings & the 2nd International Seminar on Advanced Welding and Joining Technology were held in Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya (PPNS). Beijing ARC Xinxing Science & Technology Co., Ltd brought 3 three multi-function welding machines, various types of welding wires and wear plate samples to attend the exhibition. At the same time, the representatives of this company were also presented the meetings.
The historical development of PPNS can be traced back to 1987 when it was originally established as the Polytechnic under initiation of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) for the purpose of establishing polytechnic in Surabaya. The institute was later elevated as an independent institute in 2012. SHIPS as a state polytechnic has since expanded rapidly in terms of both facilities and academic services and has become one of the most comprehensive polytechnics, offering courses and also training in the field of shipbuilding and marine-related industries. And welding is also one of its majors.

This exhibition gathered exhibitors of welding industry in Indonesia and students majoring in welding engineering, proving a cooperative communication platform for industry peers. During the exhibition, many visitors came to the booth of Beijing ARC, inquired the characteristics, functions and business scope of the exhibited welding machines, and also requested for company brochures. More than 50 suites of brochures had been handed out on the exhibition. Many companies were very interested in the products of Beijing ARC and left their name cards for future cooperation, hoping to be the agents.

The experienced welder represented Beijing ARC to make the demonstration. The samples welded by the welding machines of Beijing ARC are beautiful in weld forming, better in weld penetration, and well praised by visitors. Especially the portable welding machine is well received by visitors. The visitors said that such a small welding machine with two processes of TIG and SMAW as well as competitive price was very rare. Many students of PPNS came to the booth of Beijing ARC one after another for experiencing these welding machines. They spoke highly of the multi-function welding machines of Beijing ARC.
