From 30th October to 3rd November, 2015, Russia High-Tech Conference & 2015 WorldSkills Competition was held in Ekaterinburg, Russia. 255 competitors from many Countries including Germany, UK, Korea, UAE, South Africa, the Republic of Belarus, Thailand, Finland, China, etc., competed fiercely on 24 items. 2015 Russia High-Tech Conference & 2015 WorldSkills Competition was an important grand meeting for Russian Federation. The scale and level of the meeting were beyond imagination. 1800 seats in the opening ceremony venue were all occupied. President Putin also sent inscription and greetings in person, which was read out by his assistant and minister of Industry & Trade Ministry. Dr. Liu Zhenying, the Chairman of Beijing ARC Xinxing Science & Technology Co., Ltd was present at the meetings.

Ekaterinburg is the center city of Ural Federal District of Russia, the capital of Sverdlovsk Oblast, and also the important industry, traffic, science, culture and administration center as well as one of the major industry centers. Its main industries include machinery, metal processing, chemistry, foodstuff, building materials, etc. On 15th June, 2009, “BRICS” Summit was also held here.

During the meetings, Dr. Liu Zhenying was invited to attend “2035 Future Competitiveness Forum”, “Human Resource for Industrial Development: Key Challenges and Mechanisms in Experience of the BRICS Countries. Presentation of the Best Practices” Round-table Conference, “Meetings of Skills Development Working Group of the BRICS Business Council” as well as "Best Practices from BRICS: Chinese Experience in Welding Training" and made a speech. On the 2015 Russia High-Tech Conference, Dr. Liu Zhenying as special guest elaborated comprehensively and profoundly on professionals cultivation, systematically introduced the status quo and future development of Chinese skilled professionals training, and pointed out that skills competition was an effective way to make the professionals stand out.

Presentation of the Best Practices” Round-table Conference, Dr. Liu Zhenying made a speech and participated in the discussion of Working Group of the BRICS Business Council for further deepening strategic cooperation, and clarified the work focus in 2016. The decision of holding 2016 WorldSkills Competition among BRICS had been approved.

On the “Best Practices from BRICS: Chinese Experience in Welding Training”, Dr. Liu showed the video of 2014 (3rd) “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition organized by Beijing ARC Xinxing Science & Technology Co., Ltd and also introduced the upcoming 2016 (4th) “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition, at the same time warmly welcomed each Country to attend the competition as well as the concurrent events 2016 (2nd) International Conference on MANUTECH & SKILLS and 2016 MANUTECH & SKILLS Demonstration Show.
