From January 17th to 22nd, 2016, AWF held meetings in Singapore to discuss the chapter revision of AWF (Asian Welding Federation), 2016 MANUTECH & SKILLS Demonstration Show (It will be held in October, 2016 in the Philippines), etc. During the meetings, AWF reported to International Labor Organization (ILO) about the General Welder Training & Certification System of its CWCS working group. This system aims at providing perfect training and certification service for Asian welders to realize the goal of “One certificate is popular in the whole Asia”.

The eight attendees of the activities came from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, Korea and China. The Chinese attendee Dr. Liu Zhenying, Chairman of Beijing ARC Xinxing Science & Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Beijing ARC) had participated all of the activities and meetings to discuss the above topics and carry out international cooperation and exchange.

At the same time, Dr. Liu Zhenying introduced the welding equipment and product sales training of Beijing ARC to ASEAN Countries, answered the questions of agents, and both sides discussed the further exploration of ASEAN market.

As one of the supporters of Beijing “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition, AWF have attended every previous “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition and activities. For the upcoming 2016 (4th) “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition, 2016 (2nd) International Conference on FABTECH & Skills and 2016 MANUTECH & SKILLS Demonstration, AWF will support as always and promote the development of “Arc Cup”. Currently, each member Country has been carrying out competition to select and signing up. The elite group of each Country will show their skills during this year’s “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition.
